The European connotation of mailing list about Angelo Branduardi has been evident since the first day, 14th june 1999, date in which it was founded thanks to the idea of a cherisher of Branduardi, living in the south Italy, in Meta di Sorrento, with another German cherisher, ( webmistress of one of the most complete site of Branduardi), and under the good auspices of an
"hyperactive" Dutch fan, this time. The List BRANDUARDI-ANS today represents almost an unique case in the immense view of Italian music: every artist by now has a proper mailing list, but this one dedicated to Branduardi is the only one to having therefore a great representation of European Countries: Beyond Italy, naturally, they are members from Germany,France, Holland, Belgium, Spain, Switzerland, Slovenia, Austria, USA, Canada, Australia, Russia, England and more...

The cosmopolitan character of the list reflect, obviously, the music of Branduardi: There is joy, irony, it is discussed about everything, unless politics, that is the only "taboo" argument, and above all more and more friendships are created, that goes beyond the monitor, friendships materialized in the several meetings in occasion of a concert or a convivial. In 5 years of life, this mailing list collects more than 170 members and about 15.300 messages are written! Another merit has been that one to have united the several "branduardian supporters" scattered in all over Europe, it's not a case there are registered practically all the webmasters of the branduardian sites (that they are nearly all women! ), there is no more a separation between the Italian and the German or French fan, and the term of "European community" assumes in this mailing list the noblest meaning. It is important to notice as the pacific atmosphere of the Branduardi-ans is harmonized to the thematic dealt by Angelo Branduardi, the fable acclimatization of his songs and the happy peculiarity of a not politicized songwriter has surely favorite such an atmosphere, without being superficial for this, indeed, but often burning arguments are faced and the debate, also is ignited, maintains the tone of a comparison very circumscribed in a constructive and civilian dialectic going over the language differences."
