venice in the light of the sunset changes of face for a long night... And it will big a great party!
Strange and symbolic period the one chosen by Angelo to introduce us to this fantastic concert of Futuro Antico IV. The Renaissance and Baroque music chosen, with Francesca Torelli, has for principal theme the Carnival of this city drawn by different composers of the great Venetian School of the XVIIth Century. The final product is amazing and original: we find there the abundance of a particular rhythm tipical of the musicality of this epoch and the instinctive adequacy of tone chosen by an artist as Angelo Branduardi. This way, other cannot be made to think about the musical celebration of a customary rite wanted by the destiny of the Serenissima from the beginning to the end. The passages interpreted in this occasion illuminate, from the humor and the simplicity of feeling, the meander of an always exceptional Venetian Carnival. The ensemble Scintille di musica present on the stage has obviously played instruments of epoch giving to see and to hear the famous ancient music with a modern mask. In this paradox Angelo Branduardi easily finds his position: his cleverness gives thickness to the complexity and the difference of tone necessary to the interpretation of these songs, to let us finally go, spellbound of this magic trip in a past that finds a new life... leaving its symbolic imprint on the beginnings of this feast of initiation proper of Venice.
